How to

The width and length of the shoe cover is measured from your own shoe. Additionally, add approx 10 cm extra fabric to make up for the bending. You can eventually make a template (like the sketch) and cut the fabric according to this – remember to cut two pieces of fabric per foot + to cut a piece of fabric for the bottom.

The stippled lines are the hem where the two pieces are to be sewn together (remember to sew the bottom in between the two pieces). The wrong side must face outwards when sewing, and after they can be turned around.

Ergo, you sew all the way around except from at the top where you make a drawstring hem for the elastic band instead.

The toe-part is filled with cotton wool after the seaming, and the bell is sewn on in the end when the right side is faced outwards.
